Famellos: Major participation in second round of SYRIZA-PA elections very important

Main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance's parliamentary group president Sokratis Famellos in an interview with Attica TV on Thursday night said that "it is very important to have a major participation in the second round of the elections that will be held on Sunday for the party's leadership. The major turnout in the first round is not only a legacy but also a responsibility".

Famellos underlined that he fully respects former SYRIZA-PA leader Alexis Tsipras choice to remain strictly neutral in the elections procedure.

Finally, he referred to the party's unity and collectiveness that is necessary the next day of the elections. "We bear the responsibility for SYRIZA to be strong the day after the elections. So, we must be very careful with the tensions and the contradictions created".
