High winds keep ships docked at Lavrio, Rafina & partially docked at Piraeus port

Ferries at the port of Piraeus do not sail to the Cyclades, the Dodecanese and Crete, while all ships at the ports of Lavrio and Rafina are docked on Tuesday, as high southern winds reached 9 in the Beaufort scale.

Also closed are the lines Piraeus-Salamina, Elefsina-Faneromeni, Rafina-Marmari, Ag. Marina-Nea Styra, Arkitsa-Edipsos, Kavala-Prinos, Alexandroupolis-Samothraki, Kyllini-Zakynthos and Kyllini-Kefalonia, while Rio-Antirrio is also closed.
