Six arrested for shots fired on Lenorman Street on January 20
Six people, two Greek nationals and four foreign nationals, have been arrested for involvement in an incident on January 20, in which shots were fired on Lenorman Street in the Athens district of Kolonos, the police announced on Tuesday.
The suspects, aged 66, 64, 57, 50, 37 and 21 years old, respectively, were all arrested "in the act" on Saturday, shortly after the incident occurred.
According to the police, two individuals got into a fight with other parties while driving down Lenorman in a car, leading to shots being fired. A police search tracked down the vehicle, which was parked outside a warehouse in the Athens area. The six suspects were found inside the warehouse.
After searching the suspects and the warehouse, police discovered a clip of ammunition, three clubs and the sum of 3,933 euros.
The suspects were led before an Athens prosecutor based on the evidence of violating weapons law that was found against them, while an investigation to find the other parties involved is continuing.
