Migration Miinister Kairidis meets with representatives of migrant communities
Migration Minister Dimitris Kairidis chaired a meeting on Tuesday between the representatives of migrant communities and the leadership of the ministry.
Kairides outlined the ministry's strategic priorities for 2024, placing particular emphasis on the reform of legal migration.
On her part, Deputy Minister for Migration and Asylum Sofia Voultepsi referred to integration policies, stressing the absorption of migrants in the labour market.
The representatives of the migrant communities welcomed the ministry's initiative and described the problems they face, as stated in the ministry's announcement.
This was the first of a series of discussions that will take place as part of the dialogue of the ministry with civil society.
