Electricity demand down 4.5 pct
Electricity demand in Greece down 4.5% last month compared to January 2013, according to data released on Wednesday by the Independent Power Transmission Operator (ADMIE).
Total demand for power amounted to 4,496 GWh, down from 4,685 GWh last year.
Total power production went down to 4,037 GWh from 4,505 GWh a year earlier, posting a 10% decline and grid transmission losses were reduced by 6.4 percent from January 2013.
