Samaras supports Juncker for European Commission’s presidency

The former chairman of Eurogroup has asked the Greek prime minister to be one of the two that would suggest him for the unction of the European People's Party's nomination for President of the European Commission.

Antonis Samaras accepted Juncker's request, and even within the day Juncker can officially announce his candidacy.

The general meeting of the EPP, which will be held next week in Dublin, will take the final decision. Antonis Samaras will be present too.
