Malaysia: "Probably, we found the missing aircraft"
The radar of Malaysia's army probably identified the missing Boeing of Malaysia Airlines, which disappeared about an hour after it took off from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, said to Reuters a military source.
According to the source, the aircraft was detected at Malacca Strait. That point is hundreds of kilometers away from the point that made last contact with civilian air traffic control.
"The aircraft changed course after Kota Bharu and started to fly at lower altitudes. This happened to the Strait of Malacca", said the military official to Reuters.
If this information is true, that means that the plane flew around 500 km at least after its last contact with air traffic control.
However, Reuters broadcast this information with caution.
The Malaysian authorities sent ships to investigate the alleged debris that have been identified on the surface of South China Sea, reported Bloomberg.
