Farmers’ blocks committee calls for protest rally in Athens on Tuesday

Farmers also decided to boost their presence in existing road blocks.

"We are fighting tooth and nail to keep our farmland and livestock, to produce sufficient, cheap and quality products for the basic needs of our people," the committee said in a statement.
