Athens Ledra sold to U.S. real estate firm for 33.05 mln euros
The Athens Ledra Hotel, Athens’ former Ledra Marriott, was sold on Wednesday to U.S. real estate developer Hines for 33.05 million euros, according to the media reports.
The information was confirmed by Panos Kozis, a member of the union representing the former hotel employees, who told the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA) that the union will meet on Thursday to discuss their future actions.
Hines, represented by “Tourist Enterprises Sole Shareholder S.A”, was the only company that made a bid for the troubled hotel which declared bankruptcy on May 31 due to financial difficulties.
