Οι στίχοι που «ανάγκασαν» αυτούς που ψήφισαν να τους χαρίσουν την πρωτιά ήταν του ρεφρέν και συγκεκριμένα η ατάκα... «are we human or are we dancers».

Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι τη δεύτερη θέση πήραν οι Beatles για τους στίχους του I Am The Walrus και την τρίτη ο Μάικλ Τζάκσον (Earth Song).
