Greek president praises Tsiodras’ choice of words about Roma during his briefing

Following his daily briefing and an earlier visit to a Roma camp in Larissa, she quoted him on Twitter as saying that “what will get us through this pandemic is unity and solidarity.”

On Facebook too, the President wrote that “by referring to the Roma as a vulnerable community, Sotiris Tsiodras gave a lesson on democracy and respect for all citizens, which all of us must take into account,” before posting excerpts from Tsiodras’ speech on her public profile.
