Defence Minister Dendias meets LibDem peer Baroness Smith in London

Defence Minister Nikos Dendias on Tuesday reported a meeting in London with Julie Smith, Baroness Smith of Newnham, who is responsible for the Liberal Democrats at the House of Lords on defence matters. In a post on the social media platform X, he said they discussed "further enhancing the defence cooperation between Greece and the UK, the terrorist attack of Hamas against Israel, and the situation in Ukraine."

"As the Labour MP John Healey, competent for matters of Defence, was urgently prevented from meeting, I had a telephone conversation with him, in the course of which we agreed on meeting at the first convenient opportunity," Dendias added.
