The digital upgrade of ANA-MPA among the next interventions of the Digital Governance Ministry

Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou late on Tuesday during briefing of the parliamentary Committee on Research and Technology referred to the upcoming interventions of the ministry, which include the digital upgrade of the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA).

"We have the new 'digital assistant' for gov.gr, the legislative initiative for the creation of a Cybersecurity Agency, but also the new digital wallet of gov.gr," Papastergiou explained.

He also informed the MPs about the "very important intervention which must be done, and echoes the positions of our country at home and abroad" and which has to do with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency. As he said, "we must, eventually, after 20 years, help our official channel abroad to modernize, and this is something we are also discussing with its management. I think it is time to get a modern means of communication, in all communication channels, classic and digital."
