FM Gerapetritis to attend NATO foreign ministers' meeting in Brussels

Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis is travelling to Brussels on Tuesday to take part in the two-day meeting of NATO member-state foreign ministers.
The meeting is scheduled to examine key issues for the Alliance ahead of the NATO Summit in Washington in July 2024, the year of the organisation's 75th anniversary. These will include NATO support in Ukraine and the sharing of the burden between the Allies, while there will also be a discussion on the situation in the Western Balkans and NATO's operational presence in the region, with the participation of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
On Wednesday, Gerapetritis will participate in the NATO-Ukraine foreign ministers' council, which is convening for the first time at a ministerial level.
