Greek stocks ended moderately higher on the Athens Stock Exchange on Wednesday, resuming their upward trend after two days of mild losses. The general index of the market rose 0.25% to close at 1,273.48 points after moving in narrow ranges throughout the day.

The Large Cap index eased 0.09% and the Mid Cap index rose 1.43%. Turnover was a low 77.9 million euros in volume of 21.9 million shares. HelleniQ Energy (4.30%), GEK Terna (1.85%), Quest Holdings (1.23%) and Aegean (1.22%) scored big gains among blue chip stocks. Broadly, advancers led decliners by 70 to 28, with another 49 issues unchanged.
