US President Biden supports “recent constructive steps” between Greece and Turkey
US President Joe Biden "expressed support for recent constructive steps" in the relationship between Greece and Turkey in a call with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday, the White House spokesperson.
They also discussed the importance of strengthening the NATO alliance, including the need for Sweden's immediate accession. In this light, they agreed to remain in close contact ahead of the July 2024 NATO Summit in Washington.
