Group claims responsibility for bomb targeting riot police in Zografou area

The organisation "Armed Proletarian Justice" on Sunday claimed responsibility for a bomb set at a MAT riot police base in Zografou on December 18, in a post on an anti-establishment website. The post outlines the reasons for the action and warns of further "strikes" in the future.

The bomb was defused by a bomb disposal team, while a Hellenic Police announcement said that it would have posed a threat to the bodily safety of students in the nearby university buildings, police officers and passers-by if it had detonated.
