New local administration development and solidarity programme «Antonis Tritsis» unveiled

The new programme, which extends up to 2023, has a budget of 2.5 billion euros and will replace the "Filodimos" programme. It will be financed by the Public Investments Programme and the European Investment Bank, with the option of a funding increase if there is demand for it from municipalities and regions.

The programme concerns the execution of public works projects, particularly in the sectors of basic intrastructure, digital convergence, sustainable growth, in the provision of civil protection and/or healthcare supplies and services and, especially, for actions to mitigate the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as actions and intiatives to support social cohesion and solidarity.
