Tsipras: New voters and the undecided will determine the election result
First-time voters and those who are still undecided will largely determine the final outcome of Sunday's parliamentary elections, main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras said on Friday morning, speaking on SKAI television.
"The Greek people will have the opportunity in the next two days to judge, compare and make a decision that is crucial for their lives. I believe the electoral contest will be decided, to a very great extent, by the votes of young people and those who are on the fence, who have in their hands the crucial decision about who will govern in the next four years. I hope they will make the right choice," he said.
On the developments regarding George Katrougalos and his exclusion from the party's ballot sheet, he said that sometimes in politics difficult and unpleasant decisions must be made, noting that "when you address the people with a Contract for Change you cannot give the right to anyone either intentionally or by mistake to question it."
