Hatzidakis: It is our duty to support exporters
The government continues its efforts to promote structural changes and reforms, Development Minister Costis Hatzidakis said on Tuesday at an event by the Greek Exporters Association on the road map to facilitate foreign trade.
"Our partners, though, need to support this effort without any reservations or footnotes. Psychology counts in the economy and it should be acknowledged that we have achieved all the objectives of both fiscal issues and structural changes in order to establish a positive climate and psychology," the minister said adding that reforms will continue so that the export of Greek products can be done in less time and at lower cost according to ANA-MPA
Regarding financing, he announced that under the new National Strategic Reference Framework (ESPA), the programme for the competitiveness and entrepreneurship will be the largest programme of funds absorption with the biggest knock-on effects. The new programme will offer support to tourism, agri-food sector, environment, energy, creative industries, health, logistics and retail shops.
