Strong winds disrupt ferry journeys to the Aegean islands
Strong winds of up to 9 Beaufort in the Aegean have disrupted scheduled ferry journeys, especially to the Cyclades islands.
Ferries going to the Cyclades remained docked on Monday morning at the ports of Piraeus and Rafina, while a sailing ban is in effect for ferries due to depart from the port of Lavrio.
Ferry services to the islands of the Saronic Gulf are departing as normal from the port of Piraeus.
