FM Dendias to visit United Arab Emirates on Thursday

Greek Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias will visit the United Arab Emirates on Thursday, the ministry said in a statement.

Dendias will meet in Dubai with UAE Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During the visit, expanded talks between the two countries' delegations will be held, followed by a one-on-one working dinner between the two ministers, the ministry said.

Discussions are expected to mainly cover the further strengthening of the two countries' strategic relations and cooperation in a wide range of fields, as well as international and regional developments, with a focus on the Middle East, North Africa, and the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Greek FM had also paid a bilateral visit to UAE in June 2022 and June 2021, as well, the ministry noted.
