KKE Koutsoumbas visits retirement home in Stylida

Communist Party (KKE) leader Dimitris Koutsoumbas visited on Monday Petris Retirement Home in the town of Stylida, Fthiotida region. Koutsoumbas met with the Archbishop of Fthiodita Symeon.

In statements after the conclusion of his visit Koutsoumbas said: "I wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The problems that the humanity, Europe, our country and our people are facing are huge but we have fighting optimism and hope for tomorrow".

He said there is no Messiah in the political system, on the contrary, every day we meet barbarism, violence and repression, exploitation of man by man. We must collectively stand against these as working popular movement and KKE is leader to all these as our slogan says «only the people can save the people".
