Foreign ministry expresses condolences to US over massive snowstorm
The Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry expressed its condolences over the deaths caused by the unusually cold front that also brought heavy snow in the United States.
In a tweet, it said, "Deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives in the US following the harsh weather conditions. We extend our sincere condolences & deepest sympathy to the victims’ families, the people & gov’t of our close friend & strategic partner US."
