Swedish man pulled out of the sea on Crete is confirmed dead

According to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, the man was a Swedish tourist who lived in the area, and was aged between 70 and 75 years of age.

Nearby bathers called authorities and the emergency ambulance while trying to revive him unsuccessfully. An autopsy will be carried out for the cause of death.
