Government policies boost profits for the few, Androulakis says
Opposition PASOK-Movement for Change leader Nikos Androulakis met with the Union of Working Consumers of Greece in his office in the Parliament.
During the talks, Androulakis referred to the inflation of profits and surplus profits favoured by government choices in a number of sectors, such as energy, at a time when the purchasing power of the majority of citizens is shrinking dramatically.
"Employees are having a very difficult time in these extreme conditions of inflation and, unfortunately, the government through its ignorance is constantly allowing their incomes and purchasing power to decrease," commented the leader of PASOK-Movement for Change.
"All of these are issues that should have been addressed in order to have a fair policy of reducing the extent of inequalities and greater protection of the middle classes and our most vulnerable fellow citizens", underlined Androulakis.
