Tsipras at Ilion: Voters must decide between change or Mitsotakis
The national election on May 21 is not one to express protest, but "to judge who will govern us tomorrow," SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras said in the western suburb of Ilion on Tuesday.
At a campaign speech, the main opposition leader said that "as things now stand, the prospects for the day after are, either a Syriza win and a progressive collaboration government the day after elections - without the adventure of second and third elections - or a Mitsotakis win," referring to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and his party New Democracy.
Greek voters should really think what they want in their lives. "If we want change, this can only happen with Syriza coming out first at the May 21 elections, there is no other way to defeat Mr. Mitsotakis' New Democracy, to defeat the regime Mitsotakis."
