Co-pilot of crashed F-4 found dead, while search continues for jet's pilot

The 29-year-old lieutenant commander and co-pilot of a Greek air force military aircraft that crashed on Monday morning was found dead during a search operation, it was reported late on Monday afternoon.

The Hellenic Air Force's F-4 Phantom II crashed into the sea 25 miles south of the Andravida airport. The two-seater fighter jet of the 338 Squadron of the 117 Combat Wing was carrying out a training flight when it crashed.

The search continues for the 31-year-old commander and pilot.
